Imperial Architectures

This morning, while fixing your eyes on this huge Tiananmen Square, symbol of historical changes in China, be sure to immerse in the Chinese patriotic atmosphere. Take a symbolic picture in the center of the square before walking along its underpass, which leads to the Forbidden City. Then pass the Tiananmen Gate and begin the tour of Forbidden City. Stroll between the walls steeped in history and this huge imperial palace approached and admired by emperors from past Chinese dynasties. Pass the Palace interiors and courtyards to see how its treasures and mysteries are revealed. Enjoy the Palace museum to relax.
This afternoon, you will climb the small slope of the Jingshan Park and discover the Wanchun Pavilion. Here you can experience memorable views of the golden roofs of the Forbidden City, the National Grand Theatre and the central axis of the capital. Then, discover the National Grand Theater, a world famous architectural work close to the Forbidden City. Unless there is any special event, this gigantic egg enthroned in the midst of artificial waters will open the doors of its theaters and its mysteries. This is definitely worthvisiting.
Tonight, enjoy one of the most delicate Chinese cuisine dishes: the Beijing Roast Duck. You will enjoy this ancient dish in one of the best restaurants in Beijing. 
Time for an evening at the Peking Opera, you will be immersed in the legends of ancient China. After an early dinner, if you wish, enter backstage at the theater to see the actors apply their makeup and get ready for their performance. The acting, costumes and music are set with such finesse that you forget the English subtitles on both sides of the stage. You will be surprised by the staging and colors, but especially music and acting skills are quite impressive

The local market

This morning, you will spend a few hours hunting in the largest flea market in Beijing, the Panjiayuan Antique Market. You may even have fun engaging in the Chinese custom of bargaining as you find goods at the best price.
Then, experience a tour back to a time of ancient worship by visiting the Temple of Heaven. A shrine of Heaven and symbol of Beijing, the Temple is believed to be as important as the Forbidden City, or even more because the emperor is the son of Heaven. If there is not too crowded, a stroll through the extensive gardens and corridors of the park will immerse you in the lives of old Beijing.
In the afternoon, visit the architectural treasures of the largest imperial garden in China, the Summer Palace. Based on models of the most beautiful gardens of Suzhou and the shores of West Lake in Hangzhou, this huge garden is full of history. There is even a chance for a short cruise on the calm Kunming Lake.
After visiting the Summer Palace, visit the Pearl Factory. In this factory, the ancient culture of freshwater pearls will be revealed, which traces back to how these beads are processed 2,200 BC.

Great Wall Visit

Today, explore one of the most important symbols of China: The Mutianyu Great Wall. This wonderful site offers a stunning landscape with the surrounding natural beauty. Having arrived at the ramparts by cable car, you may enjoy of exclusion from the rest of the world, as this area is a less touristy section of the Great Wall. To return, you can choose to walk, go tobogganing or cable car. After the Great Wall tour, stop at the cloisonne factory where this ancient art will be revealed. You will explore artisans welding on a piece of copper inlaid with colored enamels. During your visit to the Ming Tombs, the tomb Changlihighly recommended as it is the most surprising site. The Sacred Way will lead you in this sacred site where Ming emperors chose to rest for eternity.

Overnight Soft Sleeper Train to Xian

Hutong Tour

This morning, as you ride in a rickshaw in the Hutongs, prepare to dive deeper into this unique atmosphere of old Beijing. The doors of the famous courtyard houses are open to you, as you experience being around working-class families as they enjoy life in these old homes. When sharing a meal with a typical Beijing Hutong family, you will learn about the customs and traditional ways of life in these neighborhoods. Then relax for a while in the Shichahai area. In the heart of Hutong, Shichahai offers a charming setting with tranquil lake and traditional houses. You can buy some souvenirs but mostly enjoy places to sit at a cafe and listen to the old talk or sing. You will then discover that it is easy to combine modernity with tradition.
This afternoon, meet the faithful Buddhist in the Yonghe Lama Temple. This Lamasery is still active and considered the most beautiful Tibetan Buddhist temple outside of Tibet. This temple has also been the Office of Tibet which for the Dalai Lama's communication directly with the central government in Beijing. Over its five halls, you soak in the sacred atmosphere and feel enchanted by the huge, wooden statue of Buddha Maitreya. Enjoy the last moments of the day tour to forget the liveliness of the city and enjoy the quiet of Beihai Park. This former imperial garden is a perfect place to take a walk by the lake while enjoying the beautiful White Dagoba.
Tonight, you will take the overnight train to Xian.

Discover Xian

Upon arrival at Xian Train Station this morning, our guide will wait for you at the exit and then you will be driven to the hotel for breakfast and after then, go a few miles outside of city wall and discover one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas. As a symbol of Xian, you could admire the city at the seventh floor of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, stop at a Jade Factory -the Chinese favorite treasure. Discover how jade is carved and the difference between real and fake with the guidance of professionals.
This noon, enjoy the delicacy offered in a local restaurant, the Dumpling Lunch in Xian. Enjoy these dumplings with meat or vegetables stuffing. By the way, dumplings are the special dish for the Chinese New Year.
In the afternoon, immerse in the history of the province of Shaanxi. The huge Shaanxi History Museum is a treasure of China. From prehistory to the discovery of the Terracotta Army, you will figure out the constant changes that the people of the ancient capital Chang'an had experienced.
Then, immerse yourself in the culture by visiting the Great Mosque and Muslim Quarter. Visit the Muslim Quarter of the city and discover spices and dishes typical of the Hui ethnic group. Arrive at the Great Mosque of Xian, one of the four largest ancient mosques of China. Gardens and buildings available for non-Muslims will give you an overview of the Sino-Arab cultural mixture which can be seen in many places.

Flight to Shanghai

The Eighth Wonder of the World

This morning, climb up a few stone steps and then you are on the Xian City Wall. Enjoy a stroll or even biking on the city wall to admire the city view. Although it is impossible to make a complete tour of the city on the wall, the ride will be interesting. Then, get away downtown Xian to visit the eighth wonder of the world, the Terracotta Army. From the passage of the door, prepare to marvel at the craziest project by the first emperor of China. Although the tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi is never ever open, a few rooms containing objects have been observed as having accompanied the deceased. In an annex building, know more about the story of the emperor and the construction of this magnificent tomb. The real size of the Terracotta Warriors will definitely surprise you and make you Xian tour unforgettable.

Modern Shanghai

For a new adventure, we will begin with exploring the Shanghai Museum to discover one of the most important collections of Chinese art in the world. From room to room, explore the history of this country's millennial culture. Get there by first crossing the People's Square and its Park. Then, take a nice walk along the Huangpu River on the Bund. Historic buildings in this street combine styles of Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque to the New York of the 1930s and the Sino-Western. As a symbol of Shanghai since the 1920s, the Bund is considered “Chic Avenue of China”. With modern skyscrapers on the other side of the river, the Bund mixes old and renewal in a sumptuous setting. Close to the Bund, do some shopping in the stores of Shanghai on West Nanjing Road. Enter the crowds of shopaholics strolling around the long pedestrian street of several kilometers. When shopping on the Nanjing Road, enjoy and admire some of the historic buildings in their various styles.
In the afternoon, reach at the top of the second tallest skyscraper in Shanghai, the Jin Mao Tower. From the top of its 88 floors you will admire the panorama of the Bund and the Huangpu River in the front with the symbol of the city, the Oriental Pearl Tower. The Jin Mao Tower open to public in 1998 when it was the highest skyscraper in the city with a height of more than 420 meters. According to Chinese Numerology, the Tower consists of 88 floors, each of them loses an eighth of height from bottom. The Jin Mao Tower also recalls the shape of a Chinese pagoda. And yet, it is art deco.
Even in the Pudong New Area, it is possible to make a pleasant stroll. On the Eastern Bank of the Huangpu River, stroll at the foot of the monumental buildings of the futuristic part of Shanghai and admire the frontages of Gothic, Baroque and Romanesque of the Bund across the river.
In the evening, join in the ERA acrobatic show that is full of exciting and breathtaking spinning movements. You will be fascinated by the amazing skills of these artists.

Old Shanghai

This morning, jump into the crowds of visitors, the Yuyuan Garden is a breathtaking, beautiful garden of Shanghai. As one might notice while strolling through the shops and restaurants, this area has been restored in a very typical style of ancient China. Cross the bridge with nine turns and finally go to the Yuyuan garden, a haven of peace in the economic capital-Shanghai.
Then, visit the Shanghai 1933 Old Millfun which today hosts important events in the field of design and fashion. In a residential district of Shanghainese, enter this place which is so special in history and has a very original design.
This afternon, stroll in the Old French Concession of Shanghai and discover some of the most beautiful villas of the pre-war in this area. Pass by Huaihai Street and the hotel Jinjiang, which today represents the heart of this old French Concession. Then,take a stroll around the old town of Shanghai and enjoy the Tianzifang Shikumen. These traditional houses are in Shanghai as the Courtyards in Beijing. Stroll in the middle of shops, the art galleries and cafes in the small and classic alleys of the neighborhood.

In the morning, you will be transferred to the Pudong International Airport for the flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, how would you like to go to the hotel in Hong Kong? On your own or airport transfer service from us?
In the afternoon, take a subway to visit the must-see sites in Kawloon Island by yourself. Among them, spend some time in one of the liveliest places of worship in Hong Kong, Sik Sik Yuen Temple or Wan Tai Sin Temple. All the pilgrims come to pray to guard against disease and discover their future. Feel free to enjoy the unique landscape amidst the serenity of this space, which is dedicated to Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, but especially the legendary monk Wong Tai Sin. You will not regret the visit.
Forget for a moment that you are in the great metropolis of Hong Kong by entering the Chi Lin Nunnery and its remarkable Nan Lian Garden. This oasis of tranquility is a shining example of all the architectural art of the Tang Dynasty. No nails, you will not believe that such a wooden structure can support so much weight!
Enjoy some free time to wander the Temple Street Night Markets of Kowloon. In the market, admire marvelous worthy museum pieces. In the early evening, head to the Night Market of Temple Street, an ideal place to shop for an array of items. Take the opportunity to enjoy a local meal. Hong Kong Island Free Day

In the morning, visit the south of Hong Kong Island and the beach of Repulse Bay. Start walking at Deep Water Bay and walk along the seafront, which may appear peaceful and deserted. Magically in the middle of nature, enjoy the beach of Repulse Bay by putting your feet in the water and cooling off a bit. Away, it feels like it is only an ocean out of sight. In the south of Hong Kong Island, the old fishing village of Stanley is recommended, which has nothing to do with his former activity. The waterfront side of Murray House will allow you to ride with a nice view of the sea. You can stop for a coffee at one of the shops. You will arrive at the famous Stanley Market which has attracted many visitors. Then go through the local beach and soak your feet in water.
From the St. John's Cathedral, take an authentic peak tram up to Victoria Peak. During the ascent, you will see a breathtaking part of Hong Kong Island. Once at the top, take the trail circling the peak. From here, you can admire the port, the islands of the archipelago, and all of the hustle and bustle of the Hong Kong business district. This incredible view will remain forever engraved in your memory. After enjoying the places, you descend by peak tram.
Tonight, you head to one of the trendiest places in Hong Kong, Lan Kwai Fong. Better known under the abbreviation LKF, stroll through the vibrant nightlife at its last hits of the moment. Enjoy one of the bars for a drink and meet the locals, expatriates and visitors hanging out during the night.

The program for today, find your English-speaking group in the lobby of your hotel and head for the island of Lantau and Ngong Ping. On the way, you will visit the Tsing Ma Bridge. Being one of the largest suspension bridges in the world, you feel its grandeur and power. It is over 2-kilometer you can admire the impressive cable supporting towers and its impressive mass.
Go to an unknown part of Hong Kong and untouched by modernity, the small fishing village of Tai O. Enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the place as you wander between stalls of dried fish and its ancient bridges. Do not miss the wooden stilt houses, as these are traditional houses of the majority of its local people.
Go to Ngong Ping and prepare to be impressed by the big Buddha Lantau. At the foot of the hill, you will feel small before this bronze statue of 26-meter high. After climbing the 268 steps between you and the feet of the Buddha, the view of the rest of the island will continue to provide you with an amazing experience. Enjoy being on a local trail to visit the Po Lin Monastery and enjoy one of their vegetarian dishes.
