The Chinese exterior is characterized by multiple roofs and use of purple. The interior consists of Tibetan pagodas and pavilions. The temple's main attraction is the biggest wooden statue of Guanyin (i.e. the bodhisattva associated with compassion). The architectural wonder is seventy two feet high and is made of pine, cypress fir, elm, and linden. In the detail of the statue, 42 arms are embedded on the statue and each arm holds a magic object and an eye.

Symbolic meaning
