In the city of Yarkand center situated the mausoleum of all the royals who lived in the city. Extending out of sight, this Yarkand mausoleum contains an impressive number of tombs of Islamic architecture. Some are noticeable by their immensity, as is the case of the musician and poet queen.

Not far from the mosque of Yarkand situated the cemetery, all the royal people who lived in this city were buried here. The tombs lie out of sight and adhere to Islamic architecture, whereas visitors can see the designs, which highlight the princes, kings and queens of the Uighur Khanate. Some monuments boast great significance. For example, the case of the tomb Ammanisahan Khan, a Uighur queen king who reigned from 1553 to 1560. She was known for being a musician and poet queen.
