Better time to visit

But in summer, the area is very wet and many landslides can occur. Spring or fall may be better seasons to venture into the Himalayas.

Post Office

More symbolic than anything else is a China Post Office opened in the base camp. Thus, visitors can send their postcards, which can serve as proof of their visit to this mythical place.
